  1.  What dominated the 2016 election? Fake news stories about Trump.

2.  What is the huge business in Velice, Macedonia?  People making up fake stories from Americans and posting them on the internet.

3.  What is the Fake News next target? 2020 US election.

4.  Describe the city.  Does it look rich or “paved in gold?” No, it doesn’t look rich. It looks poor and run down.

5.  What does the mayor say is a way to make some quick money? To make up lies on the internet.

6.  What is “click bait”?  What does it mean to click and then share? It means to attract someone to click it and read/watch it then when you share it your giving people the opportunity to make more money.

7.  When the reporter talks to a fake news creator, where does he say he gets his news? He says he gets them from other newspapers.

8.  What do you think when he says, “I paraphrase”? I don’t think he does this, I think he makes up interesting things that people will click on.

9.  How do website owners get money?  What happens when someone opens their “stories”? From advertising. Every time you visit a page they get money.

10.  How are google and facebook responding to the fake news problem? They say they block the fake news.

11.  How do they get around the facebook blocks?  How do they get facebook accounts? They buy real pages from kids and change them into an american person.

12.  Miguel is a “pioneer of fake news” his words.  What is his primary goal right now?  What is he getting ready for?  To get all the fake lies out for the election of 2020.

13.  In one day, how much does he make? About 25 hundred dollars a day.

14.  What does he think makes a story clickable? Anything to do with Trump.

15.  Why does he not care if it is true? Because he just wants to get paid.

16.  Is he proud of his job? Yes.

17.  How is it a huge business?  How are lots of people involved even Americans? Because it’s thousands of people including Americans who make these stories.

18.  In the bar scene, it shows a digital gold rush.  How can you tell money is being made. Because they are throwing money.

19.  What does the mayor say about the morality of fake news? He thinks there is no morality in politics.

20.  Why would the CNN reporter ask if someone is influencing the fake news reporters to affect the 2020 election? Because they are spreading lies around.

21.  How are Americans to blame for this?  What keeps these fake news sites in business? Because we are quick to look at something and read it.

22.  What do you think it means to think before you click and definitely think before you share! Think about who the money is going towards.
